| What an exciting day. My visit was greeted with this helpless nature. Spotted the home of the Laced Woodpecker home was being taken over by the monitor lizard. Lucky the woodpecker was smart enough to fly away and not return. But I was wondering if the other woodpecker that we spotted on 1st Feb safe? |

| An hour later when I came back, saw this woodpecker flew in front of me. Yes, he is safe. Yes!!! |

| Was enjoy the water and have a rest after the rain. Realised this boardwalk is so beautiful. |

| While in the mangrove forest, I tried to capture a shot of this bird. The Greenback Flycatcher. This bird moves around very fast and is always on top of trees. My camera has a zoom of only x28. So it is always a challenge to capture any birds. Today, I got it at last. Wow. |

| Was having my lunch at the Kitchen Garden and this white parrot flew pass. When I went searching for it, saw the parrot munching on a fruit. |

| I have been to this park so many times but never visit the beach. Today, I decided to enjoy the sea breeze and the seaside view. |

| Can have food in the hawker centre and watch people fishing at the pond. My trip ends here after 4 hours here. Wow, I will be back again. |

| Kelong Bridge is accessible via Punggol Road. It sits almost in the middle of the waterway. |

| It is nice to cross the Kelong Bridge and have take a look at the surrounding. |

| Olive backed sunbird. The bridge act as a tree top look out. My favorite place to spot for bird on top of this tree. |

| I like to climb up to the higher ground and look down. The view is awesome. |

| Fancy how, I normally spot these birds here. Seem like this is their residence. Black-naped-oriole, Yellow Vented Bulbul, Asian-glossy-starling and Straited Heron. |

| Mynar, White-throated-kingfisher, White-collared-kingfisher are also common residents here. |

| Walk towards the east (Right), you will come across this bridge. Funny how there is no name to this bridge. |

| Continue to walk next to the waterway towards the east (right). You will come across the Wave Bridge. Wave Bridge connects us to Oasis Terraces. This is a Shopping Mall with a garden concept. You can go for a tea break or toilet break here before you continue your next journey. Continue to walk eastwards(following the waterway) will lead us to Sunrise Gateway Bridge. However, if we turn left following the split canal, will lead us to Coney Island. |

| Notice the bridges built here are handicapped friendly. So it is also good for people with shopping trolleys or for parents with children in strollers. |

| Walk further east and we will see that the plants planted in the waterway get more dense and there are look out for us to check on wildlife like birds and herons and Waterhens. |

| Take a break at Sunrise Gateway Bridge, enjoy the scenery of the river and Bridge to Lorong Halus. |

| Hindhede Quarry, another quarry located within Bukit Timah Reserve. This quarry is rather small, with a small look out. So can be quite a squeeze especially when someone try to pose for a picture here. |

| This is the highest peak in Singapore. Unfortunately if you are looking for view, I am afraid there is none. |

| How to get there. Take a train to Beauty World Train Station. Walk for at least 20mins to reach the park. Track further. |
