Pasir Ris Park

Pasir Ris Park, Located near Car Park C
My favourite park so far. There are a lot to explore on a fine sunny day. When there are ample big trees to shade me while I walk even at 12pm. A good place for forest bathing where we just need to sit under the trees and feel so calm.
I visit this place almost every week to enjoy nature here.

Watch the water stream during high tide

Enjoy creatures in the water - different kind of fishes and even jelly fish in some days

Crabs and and shell fish can be seen while walking the mangrove boardwalk

Climb up the observation tower to have a look at birds up on the trees

Shades if you need to hide from the rain

A small pond next to the kitchen garden. Spot dragonflies, 

A garden next to the pond that attracted lots of butterflies.

You will see a lot of photographers in the park. A park where you can see so many kinds of different birds. 
So far, Pasir Ris is the only park that I can spot Hornbills.

Red Bishop can be spotted here too. This is the first time I observed such kind of bird in Singapore.

Pink necked green dove and the jungle fowl

Goshawk, White-breasted-water-hen, Bittern and Yellow Tail Vented Bulbul.

Robin, White-collared-kingfisher, Spotted Wood Owl and many other birds for us to spot them.

If you are into horse, there is a Bristo Neigh for you to ride horse or have a drink here.

In this park, you will spot quite a number of photographers with huge equipments. This really shows that this park has a lot to do. 

In conclusion, Pasir Ris Park is a very peaceful park to visit even if you do not want to do any activity.

How to get there

MRT station : Pasir Ris Station. Take a walk of 15 to 20mins towards Car Park C

Bus : Bus number 3, alight at bus stop ID 77379, walk towards Car Park C
